Table Mountain Overnight Hike

Table Mountain, Table Mountain (Nature Reserve), Cape Town, South Africa

The scouts had an awesome overnight hike on what was possibly one of the coldest nights in 2021 (reference pending).

We hiked up the mountain from Cecilia Forest, which is steeper than one might think, and managed to successfully avoid the rain by mere minutes. The night was absolutely frigid but the fire kept the cold at bay and the sound of intense hail made for a nice sleep track.

The hike down followed the nice-and-easy Jeep track to Constantia.
