Silvermine Hike

Table Mountain National Park, Table Mountain (Nature Reserve), Cape Town, South Africa

​It was the perfect day for 2nd Rondebosch to venture once more unto Silvermine. Unfortunately, it was also the perfect day for half of Cape Town too - Silvermine was insanely busy!

The plan was to tackle Constantiaberg peak via Elephant's Eye cave but it was a hot day and, with the trails being so busy, we decided to turn around at Elephant's Eye and head to the dam for a swim - a welcome decision, if I do say so myself.

Overall, it was lovely to be back in the Silvermine area and this was the perfect re-welcoming hike.
