Table Mountain Overnight Hike

Table Mountain, Table Mountain (Nature Reserve), Cape Town, South Africa

We had another one of our great sleepovers on top of Table Mountain, this time taking a different route to our usual Kasteelspoort ascent.

Diagonal Ascent is a somewhat longer route to the left of Kasteels' going up through a dried riverbed and around a small valley named "the valley of the red gods" (origin unknown to us). And, from our count, populated by at the very least 1 tahr.

Our descent took us down Nursery Ravine, coming out at Kirstenbosch gardens upper parking.
